Cheryl Miceli Obituary

Cheryl Miceli, 73, born and raised in the Chicago area, passed away on March 3, 2026, after a courageous journey through illness. She died at home surrounded by the love of her family.

Cheryl shared 45 devoted years of marriage with her beloved husband, Mike. Their life together was rooted in faith, commitment, and a deep and abiding love that carried them through every season.

A devoted grade school teacher, Cheryl had a special heart for children who needed extra encouragement and compassion. She especially loved teaching the less fortunate, seeing in each child a dignity and potential that reflected her deep faith. Teaching was never just a profession for her — it was a calling.

Cheryl was a true disciple of the Lord. Her faith was not simply something she believed; it was something she lived. She served generously, volunteered faithfully, and was always ready to support a cause that eased someone else’s burden.

Her greatest joy was her family. Her daughters, Lauren and Kristen, meant the world to her. She loved them with a fierceness and tenderness that shaped their lives in countless ways. Becoming a grandmother brought her immeasurable happiness. Sunny, Levy, and Tenney were the light of her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her love for her daughters and their families was constant, unwavering, and profound.

Cheryl will be remembered for her servant’s heart, her steadfast faith, her warm kitchen, and the tremendous love she poured into her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mike; her daughters Lauren and Kristen; her cherished granddaughters Sunny, Levy, and Tenney; and many extended family members, friends, former students, and all whose lives were better because of her kindness.

Her legacy lives on in the faith she modeled, the students she lifted up, and the family she loved so completely.
