Cheryl A. Richie, 70, of Buffalo Mills, formerly of Wichita, KS, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at her residence. She was born on October 29, 1954 in San Bernardino, CA, a daughter of the late Peter J. and Nadine Mae (Brock) Kraft. On December 28, 1965, in Honolulu, HI, she married Roger L. Richie and he preceded her in death in December of 2020. She is survived by a daughter, Shelly Biddle widow of Ryan of Buffalo Mills; two granddaughters: Alicia Wachter and husband Allen of Queen and Alyse Hillegass-Wayde of Everett; five great-grandchildren: Savannah, Leo, Ryann, Arabella, and Aurora; three sisters: Sandra Schuttler widow of Jim of Wichita, KS, Bonnie Young of Topeka, KS, and Charlene Watley of NC; and three brothers: Michael Kraft of GA, Alan Kraft and wife Maryann of AZ, and Daman Kraft and wife Cheney of Clearwater, KS. She was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Patrick Hillegass, and a sister, Linda Gouveia.

Cheryl attended Kansas City University and received a Bachelor's degree in Business and Accounting. She worked for the Department of Education and retired after 40 years. She enjoyed selling for home interiors, having the second highest sales for the company the year she retired, and also did many crafting activities in her spare time.

A memorial service will be held in Kansas at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford. Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
