Cheryl Lynn Vincent, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, at the age of 74. She was surrounded by family at the end and went peacefully.

Cheryl was born on January 3, 1951, in Colorado, and later made her home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It was here that her family grew and took root. And if you don't count the winters, it was a place she loved to watch them grow.

Growing is exactly what her family did, She is survived by her three daughters, Tabetha, Adriene, and Kylie. Each who took with them the strongest parts of Cheryl. Tabetha's toughness and ability to be a rock for those in need. Adriene's unbelievable strength and capacity for doing the right thing. Kylie’s love and hopeful attitude, being able to find the good in every situation. These are gifts from Cheryl, who embodied all the same.

Her cherished grandchildren Kyle, Cassidy, Austin, Mara, Asher, Aubrey, and Deegan; and her great-grandchild Colton, who all have these values to look up to and aspire to reach. As truly an example to her family, there's hardly any words to describe the love, care and impact.

Cheryl will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the love she shared with everyone who knew her. It didn't take long for her to find a special place in your heart and become family. And above all else, family is what she cherished. Making it a point to be together as often as possible. Wearing a heartwarming and proud smile whenever she could sit back and watch her family together.

Small things often go unnoticed when someone is here. Things you may not particularly think of, like the smell of oyster stew filling the house because she was up early preparing it. Or always having chocolate and caramel cookies hidden away for the grandkids. Even something as simple as playing a song she was fond of. Things like these will forever go unappreciated at the time, but remembered fondly for the rest of our lives.

After spending most of her life caring for others as a CNA professionally, there was no challenge at all in coming home to spead that love to her children and grandchildren. Making sure to raise strong women, and spoil lucky grandchildren.

The way she could tell a story from her youth, truly was unmatched. Her sense of humor and ability to make light hearted jokes made anyone who had the pleasure of her company fall in love.

She truly will be missed by all, but stories and memories involving Cheryl will stand as some of the best of all time to those who knew her.

If spending time together, laughing and horsing around with family is something we can make time for, then we'll truly be honoring the life of our matriarch.

Love you Mom, Grandma, Cheryl.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held. Cheryl’s life will be honored and celebrated privately by her family.
