Cheryl Webster, 70, of Taylor went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 22, 2025. Her favorite scripture was, “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. … the sword of the Spirit, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, and the helmet of salvation. Ephenians 6:11-18
Cheryl Webster was born on December 11, 1954 in California to Don and Lynn Noren. She grew up with brother William (Bill), and sister Kimberly. She attended UCSB later transferring to UCLA (where she was a member of the rowing team). Cheryl was a former model, licensed Pilot and Scuba Diving Instructor. She was also a member of the Santa Cruz Follies, Santa Cruz Choir, and C12 Business Group. Cheryl moved to Taylor, TX in 2014, bringing her company Noren Thermal Solutions and loyal business partner (Dennis Galindo) and associates with her. She was an active community member. Holding officers in the Chamber of Commerce (past President), Rotary Club (Membership Chair), Taylor Area Republican Women’s Group (TARW) (Secretary and Legislative Chair Member), The Greater Taylor Foundation (Philanthropic Organization), and Chat n Laff (The First Baptist Church of Taylor Activities Group)
Cheryl was preceded in death by brother Bill and father Don. She is survived by sister Kimberly, Nephews Andrew and Christopher, and Niece Skylar (Bill’s daughter). She is also survived by her church family (The First Baptist Church of Taylor – Drs. Anthony and Michelle Watson, Pastor and 1st Lady), close friends Sherry Green, Sybil , Willie and Janet Curtis, Chat n Laff, The Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, TARW, The Greater Taylor Area Foundation and the whole city of Taylor who were blessed to share her smile, her laugh, break bread, and just witness the Christian spirit of our Sister in Christ.
She will forever shine in our hearts and memories.
We KNOW she was welcomed home with open arms and the words “Well Done thy good and faithful servant … enter thou into the joy of the lord”, Matt 25:21.
Cheryl’s funeral service will be held Friday, January 9, 2026, 10 am at Providence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the City of Taylor Cemetery.
