Kathy Webster

Kathleen Weech Webster, age 83, a long-time reader of the obituary column has made her debut. An avid pianist and organist, Kathy stayed true to her LDS faith and had a deep love for serving others. Although she didn't like doing family history herself, she was proud of her Gila Valley pioneer roots and the Bryce and Weech family heritage. She was powered by Diet Coke, famous for her banana bread and a champion canner of just about anything you could fit in a jar.

She was a fierce protector of those in her inner circle . . . and heaven help you if you weren't in it. Bold, highly opinionated and wonderfully honest, she had a gift for saying exactly what needed to be said. If you were off track, Kathy told you straight and delivered it in a way that made you feel cared for. Now her family, including nieces and nephews, are wondering who will keep them in line and speak the truth so clearly.

With her quiet demeanor, subtle watchful eye and quick wit, she was the neighborhood's most reliable observer and informant, a position she now leaves to the other ladies in the Heber News Network. This feisty legend of a woman will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family and her beloved Heber community.

Funeral services for Kathy will be conducted Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with a 9:00 a.m. viewing, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Heber Chapel on AZ Highway 260 in Heber, AZ.

Concluding services and burial for Kathy will be conducted Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in the Pima Cemetery in Pima, AZ.
