Funeral services for Chester L. Ard is Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at McKenzie Church of Christ. The family will receive friends on Thursday, at the church 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Ard, 76 years old, died at The Waters of McKenzie on July 11, 2025. He is a member of McKenzie Church of Christ. Worked 30 years for Ford Motor Company, St. Louis, MO and during retirement he worked at McKenzie Wastewater Department. He was born on November 17, 1948, in Salem, MO to Delbert and Dormilee White Ard.
He is survived by his wife Victoria Ard of McKenzie, five daughters Shari (Danny ) Chapman of Lavitee, MO, Kelly (Dave) Ford of Fenton, MO, Letha (Bill) Groom of Lake Wells, FL, Jo (Be`la) Bicskei of Rapid City, SD and Bethany Grey of Johnson City, TN, a sister Kathy Caltry of New York, two brothers Dale Ard of Herber Springs, AR and Ronnie (Pat) Ard of St. Charles, MO, 13 grandchildren Naomi (Jason) Collison, William Grooms IV, Amanda (Harry) Hanson, Justin (Daniel) Chapman, Nicholas (Alex) Chapman, Amanda (Alex) Chapman, Kirsten (Joe), Rosemary Ford, Kaitlin Ford, James Grey, Wolf Grey, Shawn Ard and Anna Abeling and twelve great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Sandy K. Ard, and brother Jerry Ard.
