Jennifer Kathleen Ard, a dedicated healthcare professional whose life was defined by her passion for caring for others, passed away peacefully at her home in Hillsboro, Tennessee, on Monday, October 6, 2025. She was 57.
Born on May 10, 1968, in Multnomah County, Oregon, to the late Ronnie and Sherri Ard, Jennifer built a distinguished career as a Respiratory Therapist. Holding numerous medical certifications, she found immense satisfaction in her work, treating and comforting patients. Her commitment was so profound that in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she selflessly traveled to New York and New Jersey to assist facilities overwhelmed by the crisis, embodying her lifelong calling to help those in need. Even when her own health began to fail, Jennifer's dedication never wavered, and she continually sought to return to work for her patients.
In addition to her passion for medicine, Jennifer had a deep and joyful love for dolphins. A lifelong dream was realized last year when she fulfilled her bucket list goal of swimming with the intelligent and playful creatures. In accordance with her wishes, part of her ashes will be scattered in the ocean so she may be, as she wished, with the dolphins. The remainder of her ashes will be laid to rest with her beloved parents in Idaho.
A private person, Jennifer lived a life away from the spotlight of social media. Per her final request, no public service will be held. The family will gather privately at their home after cremation to celebrate her life.
Jennifer is survived by her devoted husband of 11 years, Glenn Talley; her children, Bracken Ciaraldi and Chelsea Ciaraldi; her step-child, Ethan Washam; and her cherished grandchild, Kaysun Ciaraldi. She also leaves behind her brother, Jason (Carol) Ard, and several nieces and nephews. A special mention goes to her faithful canine companion, Bailey, her Jack Russell Terrier, who was by her side for 18 years.
Jennifer Kathleen Ard will be remembered for her unwavering compassion, her quiet strength, and her tireless dedication to caring for everyone around her.
