Jimmie Charlene Brandon, born August 22, 1941, in Cannon County, Tennessee, to Harry F. Brandon and Ruby Elizabeth (Whitfield) Brandon, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025. Jimmie was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her home and family. She especially enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning-her breakfast dishes were a family favorite. She had a deep love for sewing, spending time with loved ones, and always enjoyed her coffee piping hot. Jimmie cherished time spent going places with her sister Ann, and her heart was always full when surrounded by family. She was a faithful member of Beechgrove Church of Christ in Beechgrove, Tennessee. Jimmie is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ruby Brandon; her husband, Frank Brandon; her son Jeffery Scott Brandon her sisters, Patricia Ann Conner, Pamela Michelle Brandon, and Ladye Ruth Reed; and her brother-in-laws Warren Reed and Joe Nichols. She is survived by her grandchildren, Cody Brandon, Andrew Brandon, and Matthew Brandon; and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, Larry Brandon (Peggy); sisters, Juanita Nichols, and June Smith (Mike); sister-in-law, Betty Lou Reed; and a special friend, Judy-along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her dearly. Visitation will be held at Manchester Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Beechgrove New Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Beechgrove Church of Christ in Beechgrove, TN. Manchester Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brandon family.
