Chi Tao Obituary

Chi Kuei was born on November 7, 1930 to the late Fu Jin and Tao-Wong Shi in the Shandong province of China. He was a schoolteacher for over 20 years and eventually immigrated to the United States in 1985. Chi Kuei will be remembered as a doting grandfather who helped raise his grandchildren, an avid gardener, and someone who loved instant noodles. He is survived by his wife, Kuei Chi Tsou Tao; four children, Eddie Tao, Aichu Tao, Shan-Shun Tao, and Shan-Hu Tao; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Lexington Cemetery. Kerr Brothers – Harrodsburg Road is in charge of the arrangements.
