Heather Leigh Hewett, 51, of Lexington, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at her home in Lexington. Born December 9, 1973 in Lexington, she graduated from the University of Kentucky where she excelled in earning her chemical engineering degree. Heather worked in management positions at numerous corporations nationwide. She considered Atlanta her second home where she worked for both PepsiCo and the Coca-Cola Company.
She is loved and leaves a void in the hearts of her family.
She is survived by her parents, Robert Michael and Donna Grace Tickle Hewett; her brother, Bradley James Hewett; nephews and nieces Bryce (Shelby) Hewett, McKenna Hewett, Sterling Hewett, and Larkyn Hewett; her aunt, Patricia Tickle; cousins, Thomas (Sheri) Tickle, Jack (Katie) Hewett, and Maggie Hewett. Her constant, furry companions, Ricki and Luna, never left her side.
There will be a private family graveside service held at Lexington Cemetery.
Kerr Brothers-Harrodsburg Road is in charge of the arrangements.

What a beautiful smart young lady I have had the pleasure to know since she was in kindergarden with my daughter. May your days be filled with endless memories throughout the years, images of her precious smile and grateful she was in your lives. Donna, Brad and Bob love to you all
