Chloe Marie Quickle

Chloe "Marie" Quickle, 87, of Windham, OH, went home to her Lord and Savior Thursday, February 26, 2026. She was born January 15, 1939, in Elkins, WV, to the late Glenn and Martha (nee Nelson) Mullenax.

She met the love of her life, Marion, and they married on May 21, 1955. Marie and Marion went on to have and raise 4 children, and her family was her pride and joy. A devout woman, her faith existed hand-in-hand with the love and care that she gave her home and those who lived within. Marie showed her love of beauty through crafting and gardening, and the love of her family with canned vegetables. She was a small woman who was never afraid to give her opinion but was just as quick to fall on her knees to pray for you!

Marie will forever be missed by her children, Judith Burket, Joseph Quickle, Lynda (Mickey) Hundzsa, and Ralph Quickle; 4 generations of grandchildren; sister, Glenna (Quentin) Spaur; brothers-in-law, Jim Stone and William McDowell, Jr., as well as many other extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 60 years, Marion Quickle; sisters, Milly Stone, Betty McDowell, Carol Mullenax, and Martha Mullenax, and brothers, Bud (Rilla) Mullenax and Bobby (Diane) Mullenax.

Please join the family for a visitation Thursday, March 5, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Dan Harrison officiating. Marie will then be taken to Windham Twp. Cemetery, where she and Marion will be lovingly laid to rest, together forever.
