Eckersell Funeral Home (Eckersell Memorial Chapel)Chris Andersen, of San Tan Valley, Arizona passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on October 16, 1981, Chris lived a life defined by kindness, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family and friends.
Chris was truly a friend to everyone he met. Known for his warm smile and easygoing nature, he had a remarkable way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and understood. He consistently put others before himself, offering help without hesitation and support without expectation. His generosity and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A hardworking and devoted provider, Chris took immense pride in making sure his family was always cared for. Everything he did was rooted in love and responsibility, and his greatest joy came from seeing his family happy and secure. He was incredibly proud of his children and their accomplishments, celebrating every milestone and encouraging them to chase their dreams with confidence.
Chris deeply loved his wife and cherished their life together. He took great pride in taking care of her and always making sure she had everything she needed and often spoiling her in the small ways that showed how much she meant to him. Their love and partnership were a central part of his life, and he was happiest when they were together with their family.
Chris was known for his positive spirit and happiness that seemed to follow him wherever he went. Some of his most cherished moments were spent sharing hobbies with his boys whether sorting through basketball cards together, going flying, or cheering passionately during Phoenix Suns games. Those simple traditions created memories that will be treasured forever.
He also had a very special bond with his little “schmoo,” Aubry. Chris loved watching Aubry dance and was always happy to be her student as she proudly taught him ballet. Those playful moments, filled with laughter and love, were some of his favorite memories and perfectly reflected the joy he found in being a dad.
He will be remembered for his laughter, his loyalty, his strong work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family. Chris’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness and the enduring bond he built with those closest to him.
