Chris Michael Anderson

Chris Michael Anderson was born on December 11th,
1972 to Don Charles Anderson and Lois Jaunetta
Sundlie. He grew up and lived his whole life in the Bay
Area where he fell in love with music.
Chris was a self- taught guitar player and talented
musician. He was in the bands, Nueairea, 40 Grit, The
Miserables, and Secrets of the Sky. He toured in Europe
and The States, living out his dream to share his music
with the world. His bandmates were his brothers. He was
a business owner of 40 Grit Painting and always cared for
his employees.
Chris always said his greatest accomplishment was his
daughter. He was a father to Daneen Anderson and a
Papa to Juniper and Nathan, a title he held so proudly.
Chris has two sisters, Stormy Schae er and Robin
Anderson. Chris has two nieces, Stormy's daughters,
Wendy Harris and Misty Rains and a nephew, Robin's
son, Robert (Tre) Mulder. He was engaged to his long
time partner and love, Gina Kirksey (Driscoll). Chris
cherished the time he spent with his family.
Chris brought laughter wherever he went and his laugh
was contagious. He was a ectionate and protective of his
loved ones. He loved being outdoors, especially at the
beach but he also enjoyed relaxing at home watching
movies and shows. He loved taking long drives with the
windows down and was a classic car enthusiast. He had
an extremely generous heart and would help anyone that
needed it, even if he had nothing to give.
When Chris fell ill this year, he kept his smile through his
battle. We are heartbroken to announce the passing of
Chris Anderson, 51, on October 19th, 2024. He was
cremated at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel in Benicia,
California. There will be a celebration of life for Chris on
Sunday, December 15th at Vinnie's Bar and Grill in
Concord.

Chris was taken from us too soon. His memory will live
on in the hearts of his loved ones and his music that he
wrote and loved so much.
