Chris Benesch Obituary
Chris Benesch, age 72, of Franklin Park, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2025.
Chris was the beloved husband of Ilda (Diaz) Benesch for 47 years, beloved father of Natalie Ann (Michael) Yorty, stepfather of Joseph David Minyard, and proud grandfather of Mitchell, Isabella, and Olivia Yorty.
Chris is also survived by brothers Arthur and John (Patti) Benesch, sister Denise Benesch, uncle Harry (Rosa) Christensen, cousin Mark Christensen, and 10 nieces and nephews.
Best friend and fishing buddy for many years of Gary Johannsen.
Chris was an army veteran from the Vietnam era and was also a proud member of the American Legion, Post 974 serving on the board of directors.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
