Chris P. Billetdeaux, 64, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away with the same quiet strength and independence that defined his life. One of four brothers, Chris was the wild one—the free spirit who couldn’t be fenced in. He never lived by the rules, and he never needed to. He was a man who carved his own path, barefoot if he had to.
A skilled bricklayer by trade, Chris was known for wearing swim trunks and flip flops to work. He would kick off his flip flops and jump barefoot into the sand to mix mud—no gloves, no complaint, just grit and pride in getting the job done. In his early years, he spent his best days camping under the stars, biking desert trails, and soaking up the sun at the river. Whether he was casting a line or floating downstream getting a sunburn, the river was his refuge. And nothing paired better with those moments than a cold Bud Light in hand.
In later years, He found joy in the little things: a good show on TV, a laugh with friends, time with family, and of course, that ever-present Bud Light. He lived life on his own terms, and he left it the same way.
Chris is now reunited in heaven with his parents and his beloved daughter Kristen. He is survived by his three brothers and a wide circle of extended family who cherish the memories. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew him.
