Chris A. Brunet, 73, a native of Galliano and resident of Larose passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024.
Mr. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 51 years: Katie B. Brunet; children: Jamie Brunet (Celia), Christy B. Danos (Brad); grandchildren: Caleb Danos (Bethany), Jayne Brunet, Abigail Danos; great grandchildren: Carter, Bradley, and Roman Danos; sister: Debbie B. White (George).
Mr. Brunet was preceded in death by his parents: Sostine Sr. and Rita Lefort Brunet; brother: Sostine “Tony” Brunet Jr.
Mr. Chris enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his friends and family, especially his grand and great grandchildren. He bravely fought through his 15-year battle with cancer. His family would like to thank Haydel Hospice for their care and compassion.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 from 10:00 am until service time. His Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
