LIMA — Chris Caudill, age 69, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Marion General Hospital after a long fight with COPD, with his wife Amy and his family by his side.
Chris was best known for his love of music and his incredible ability as a lead guitarist of the "Midnight Ramblers." He enjoyed the outdoors and being around his family and friends, where he was also known for his comical rhetoric and his witty comebacks. He was a loving husband and father, and he was a great friend to many. He had a positive impact on everyone he met.
He is survived by his loving wife Amy (Tyra) Caudill; his mother Waneta (Mayer) Caudill; his five children Jerimie (Sheri) Caudill, Bobbi-Jo Fleming, and Joshua Caudill, all of Virginia, and Brooklyn Tyra and Dalton Caudill, both of Ohio; his best buddy Jaxton, grandson 5, and his two dogs Banjo and Buddy, "the boys"; his brothers and sisters Greg (Jackie) Caudill, Penny Rowe, Keith Caudill, Frankie Caudill, Mike (Jill) Caudill, and Julie Caudill Tumeo; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank Caudill, Sr, and his brother Gary Caudill.
No services will be observed at this time.
