Harold Dean Caudill, Sr., 80, of Lexington, passed away on March 8, 2026. He was born on March 25, 1945, in Salyersville to the late Windell Caudill and Sadie Darnell.

Harold retired after 39 years with Trane Company and later worked at Picadome Golf Course. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his best friends, Dallas Kerby and Joe Steele. Harold loved fishing, spending time with his family, and cheering on the University of Kentucky basketball.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Ormiston Caudill; his children, Lisa O'Hearn (Wayne), Harold Caudill, Jr. (Michelle), James Caudill (Tonya), and Ethan Caudill; his brothers, Larry Caudill (Ann) and Jimmy Caudill (Sue, deceased); 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jim Darnell; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and David Michael.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, with a private family burial to follow. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the funeral home.
