Christopher John Coulston was born on December 7, 1964, in Orange, California to Jacqueline Coulston. He graduated from Magnolia High in 1983. He later met and married the love of his life, Bobbie Coulston, in 1991.
In 1995, the couple moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they raised two children in their home. Chris soon began working for Grayco Garage Doors as a "Garage Door Man" but was known for being an all-around handy man.
From a young age, Chris was an avid sports fan. Being a ball player himself, he appreciated the game, no matter the sport. He watched NASCAR, baseball, basketball, golf. He loved it all but, his favorite was watching the New England Patriots.
Chris was a talented repair man, great at sports, did well in school, but his greatest achievement was being a dad. He took great pride in being the best Dad. He didn't have an active father, and he wanted to make sure his kids never had to experience that. He never missed a game, graduation, school event, cheer event, you name it. If his kids or grandkids were in it, he would be there cheering them on. He was an active and dedicated grandfather to his 8 grandchildren. He loved taking them to the park or to the creek, camping, splash pads, and any fun activities in general, any chance he had to be with them, he would. He will forever be remembered as a hardworking, dedicated, and loving father and grandfather who was passionate about his family.
Chris died unexpectedly on Friday, September 13, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 59. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ardith Graham, great aunt, Marie Finnegan, cousin, Dan Finnegan of Ohio, and his nephew, Stephen Coulston of California.
Chris is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Coulston of Ohio and his father, Anthony Coulston of Washington; his children, Brandy Coulston, Christina Gray, Tabitha Chain, Joseph Gray and Britany Wise; his grandchildren, Madison, Lainey, Lyric, Fayde, Nola, Story, Grayson, and Paiton his sisters, Andrea Coulston and Tina McGuire; along with a host of extended family and friends, all of whom loved and was loved by Chris.
