Chris Ronald Gaudet, known to all as Chris, was a true character with a heart as large as his personality. Born on December 17th, 1968, in Lowell, MA, Chris spent the vast majority of his life in Massachusetts, first in Fitchburg and finally settling in Lunenburg. He was a loyal friend, a loving family man, and a supportive presence who could always be counted on to lend a hand or share a quick-witted joke.
A loving husband to his wife Bonnie Gaudet of 25 years. A proud father to sons Zachary Edward Gaudet of Athol, Dylan James Gaudet of Lunenburg, and Tyler Perry. He was a cherished son-in-law to Sharon Taylor and Debbie Mosca. Chris was loved by many friends and was a pillar of strength and love in their lives.
In his professional life, Chris worked in the telecommunications industry, spending 30 years with Comcast. He began in Network Operations and, with his signature determination and resourcefulness, climbed the ranks to the role of Sr Video Engineer. But it was in his personal life where Chris truly shone. Known as the deck guy among his close friends at Coldbrook Springs Camp Resort in Barre, MA, Chris was a master craftsman. If you wanted a deck built and your budget was high, Chris was your man. His mantra was, "No corners cut on my watch!"
Chris was an member of the Eastwood Club never missing a Thursday night playing Cornhole. He was also a member of the former St Joseph’s Club in Fitchburg were he was often found playing darts and pool. He also loved golf and bocce, and would often be see playing on many local leagues.
Sadly, Chris passed away on July 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and June Gaudet, and his father in-law Kenny Mosca. His legacy lives on through his loving family and friends.
As we celebrate the life of Chris Gaudet, let us remember his unwavering loyalty, his boundless love, his steadfast support, and his sharp wit. In remembering Chris, we are reminded to live our own lives with the same gusto and authenticity that he did.
