Chris Gaydon

Chris Gaydon, age 48, passed away on May 11, 2025, in Canton, GA. Born on April 16, 1977, in Marietta, GA, Chris's passion for life was evident in everything he did.
A devoted family man, Chris was a loving husband, father, son, and brother, whose kindness and commitment to his loved ones were his guiding principles. His joyous spirit and infectious laughter often served as a beacon of light for the family. An avid enthusiast of automobiles, he could often be found under the hood of a car, where he demonstrated his exceptional talent.
Chris enjoyed the simpler pleasures of life, from fishing to the exhilaration of shooting guns. He loved his truck and was always ready for the next road trip or an opportunity to lend a helping hand.
Dependable and skilled, Chris will be remembered for his willingness to assist anyone in need and his ability to repair just about anything. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and the enduring memories he created with all who had the privilege to know him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claire and William George; uncle, Paul George; and aunt, Pat Gable.
Chris is survived by his wife, Traci Gaydon; children, Maci Kaylynn Gaydon, Angie Gaston, Emilee Hobbs and Andrew Hobbs (Erin); mother and father, Sandra and Lynn Woodall; sister, Jessica Tatum; special cousin, John "Skipper" Jeans; six grandchildren; as well as nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Bridgemill Fire Station Community Room 9550 Bells Ferry Rd, Canton, GA 30114.
