Chris Albert Hustus, age 67 years, of Medford, NJ, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 1, 2025. Chris was born to Anna (nee Henisee) and Louis J Hustus Sr. at Fort Dix, NJ. For 33 years, Chris worked at Lenape Regional High School, where he took great pride in maintaining the athletic fields. His dedication ensured that generations of students had top-notch grounds to play, compete, and grow. His commitment to the school was not just a job, but a reflection of his devotion to service. Beyond his work, his greatest passion was farming. Farming was in his blood, and he embraced it wholeheartedly. He loved taking care of the mini-horses on Jennings Farm. If he wasn't doing something with the horses, you could probably find him on his tractor in the fields. He was a part of the Klassic Kows 4-H Dairy Club, a member of the Central Jersey Tractor Club, and a Farm Fair Board of Trustees member. Chris really glowed when he could combine his love of farming with his family. He loved showing his grandchildren how to care for the farm animals and taking the grandkids for tractor rides. Chris loved all Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles. Chris was the beloved father of Brian (Gillian) and a very proud and devoted grandfather to Henry, Hailey, and Holden. He was the loving brother of Louis Jr.(Lori) and Janet, and uncle to Lindsey and greatuncle to Liam. Chris was also fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles: Mary (nee Henisee) and Richard Drayton, Floss (nee Henisee) Brotherton, David and May Henisee, and Joe Henisee. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing, held in the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford- Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ 08055, on Friday, September 12, 2025, starting at 10 AM. A Funeral Service will follow at Noon. Interment will be held at a later time at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Burlington County Farm Fair Assoc. Inc PO Box 475 Columbus, NJ 08022 Memo: Support Milking Tent (Include mailing address, they will send a receipt for your tax-deductible donations.) Burlington County Farm Fair Assoc. Inc is a 501(c)(3) organization. (www.BradleyStow.com)
