Mr. Chris Noble Sarratt, age 69 of Shelby, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2023, at his residence.
He is survived by a son, Jonathan Sarratt and wife Carrie of Shelby, NC, four grandchildren, Olivia Sarratt, Jake Sarratt, Chloe Lowrance, and Lily Sarratt all of Shelby, NC, the mother of Olivia and Jake, Ashley Collins of Shelby, NC.
Born November 1, 1954, in Gaffney, SC, Chris was preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years, Debbie Hilton Sarratt, O.Z., Maggie, and Minervie.
Chris owned and operated Shelby Body Shop. He enjoyed driving his wrecker, fishing, dirt track racing, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Chris was most proud of his son Jonathan.
A visitation will be held from 5:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Cleveland Funeral Services. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Landmark Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Allen Davis and Rev. Rodney Poston. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Landmark Baptist Church, 1724 E Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152.
