Chris Politis of Plantation, FL went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2024. Born in New Bedford MA , August 27, 1923, one of twelve children born to Spiro and Damando Politis. First generation over from Greece, he began school only speaking Greek. He shared many cherished and interesting childhood experiences with his family.
Chris married his beloved Cally whom he fell in love with in their college days, even though she was a Seminole, as he was and remained a dedicated GATOR. Chris a faithful Greek Orthodox Christian always put his family first. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, godfather, and friend to many.
Chris will be remembered as a very loving and kind soul. He is survived by and the father to James(Tina) and Maria(Scott). Grandfather to Marco(Lacey), Christopher(Maria), Taylor and Nicholas, and great grandfather to Noah, Jade, Nico, Jack, Theo, and Zoe.
He is also survived by his brothers George, Louie, and John Politis and sister, Jane.
He is predeceased by his love of life wife, Cally, father, Spiro and mother, Damando, brother James, and sisters Sophie, Pauline, Helen, Niki, Harriet, and Liz.
Separated on Earth, we will be reunited in Eternity.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation
