Mrs. Jean Williams (nee Gopaul), aged 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 22, 2025.

She was a shining light in the lives those who had the privileges of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and her unwavering Catholic faith.

Jean was predeceased by her husband Willie, of 61 years, her daughter Andra, parents Lucy and Alfred Gopaul, sister-in-law Rohini, nephew Gary, granddaughter Natasha, and adopted daughter, Lynda Moore.

She was the loving mother of Vincent, (Christine); grandmother to Michelle (Jason), Phillip, Richard and Ryan; sister to Irving (Marie), Linda Bako, Philip (Rohini) and Angela (Bob) Frayne. Nephews: Roger (Sue), Greg (Stephanie), Jason (Natasha), Krissy (Mark), Johnathan (Cindy), and many great nieces and nephews. Her loving adoptive family: Jody (Andrea), Elizabeth, RJ, Ryan and Mary Katherine. Their love and support never faltered during the years, and neither did the love of her dear friends Paddy and the Ganpat family.

We ask you to remember her for her kindness, love for cooking, dedication to her family and friends and eagerness to lend a helping hand. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her loved ones.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Wednesday November 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM. A light lunch and beverages to follow.

Donations will be accepted to "The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Canada."
