Christopher K. Queen of Branford died Monday August 19, 2024 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Diane Heffernan Queen.
Chris was born on May 6, 1963 in Medford, OR son of Leah Reavis Queen of Medford, and the late Melvin. He worked as a general foreman, and worked his way up to project manager for Heitkamp for over 38 years. Chris was a devoted family man who enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, the Rams and working in his vegetable garden. He enjoyed his annual Caribbean resort vacations with his wife. Chris befriended many when he moved to the east coast with his infectious laugh and his ability to fix anything.
In addition to Diane, Chris is survived by his stepchildren, Kaitlin (Nick) Polastri of Branford and Justin (Jennifer) Pelazza of Wallingford; his granddaughter Charlotte Polastri, his sister Cindy Queen of Portland, OR and his brother Joseph Queen of Medford, OR.
