Christian Dee Guymon passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2026, at the age of 55, doing what he loved most. Chris was born on August 18, 1970, to his parents Alease Cox and DelRoy Guymon in
Salt Lake City, Utah. He was married to the love of his life and eternal companion Stacy Hardman in the Salt Lake City Temple on November 12, 1992. His passing leaves a deep ache in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Chris had a true love for the outdoors. Whether he was hunting, camping, or fishing, he felt most at peace surrounded by family and nature. He was also a devoted fan of the University of Utah Utes and proudly supported his team through every season.
Chris owned and operated his own handyman business, which was more than a job to him-it was his passion. He took great pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His strong work ethic and generous spirit were part of what made him so special.
Above all else, Chris cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Stacy Hardman, and a loving father to his children: Larissa (Matt Wagner), Morgan (Adam Bandis), and Parker. However, his greatest joy came from being "Papa" to his grandchildren, whom he adored deeply. He leaves behind his grandchildren: Cassidy, Adalyn, Brielle, Wyatt, Harper, Maiya, Claire, and Rowan. Chris was preceded in death by his brother Gene Guymon, father DelRoy Guymon, and his first granddaughter Olivia Wagner.
Chris will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his dedication to his work, and the deep love he had for his family, friends, and clients. His presence, laughter, and steady support will be missed more than words can express.
If you wish to pay your respects to Chris and his family, a viewing and funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1050 Galena Drive in
Sandy, Utah. The viewing will take place from 10:00-11:45 AM with the funeral to follow at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help cover expenses during this transitional time.
