Christian Misner Obituary
Christian was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 27, 1955, to the late Christian F. and Eileen Frizzell Misner. Christian is survived by his loving wife, Esther; his daughters, Kitty (Chris), Hannah (Rob), Patience (Trinh), and Charity (Ron); his son, Ben (Sawa); and five grandchildren.
He honorably served in the United States Air Force for 23 years, retiring in 1998 as a Senior Master Sergeant. His dedication to lifelong learning guided him to a second career with the Holland Patent School District as a technology teacher.
Christian was an avid golfer who found joy on the course whenever he wasn't in his workshop, crafting or building with his hands. He was also an antique car enthusiast. Known for his remarkable sense of humor and love of laughter, he had a gift for brightening any room he entered. His warmth, wit, and joyful spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.
Christian's funeral service with military honors will be held on Monday, December 8, at 6 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at a later date.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 3 to 6 PM prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Christian's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.

Our deepest condolences for the family. Christian was a first cousin on my Father´s side. I have fond memories of him when I was a child, visiting his family home in the mountains of NY State, and of his Military service as a fellow veteran. May he rest in peace and may the Lord comfort his loving family.

We would like to share our deepest condolences with Christians family. I work with Hannah and she always talks so highly of her parents and family. I have never met Christian, but he certainly was successful in life by raising such a wonderful family with great values. Rest in peace my friend.
