Vicki Misner, born on July 21, 1949, left us too soon on January 18, 2026. Throughout her life, Vicki was a beacon of love and support, cherished by her family and friends. She embodied kindness and joy, making an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.
Vicki's passion for her family was evident in the way she eagerly watched her grandchildren play sports. Their games were a source of immense pride and joy for her, showcasing her enthusiastic spirit as a devoted grandmother. In addition to supporting her grandchildren, Vicki found joy in playing bingo and was known as a sports fanatic, always keeping up with the latest games and players. Vicki was a member of Southbrook Christian Church in Centerville.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Misner, who stood by her through thick and thin. Vicki’s nurturing spirit was reflected in her roles as a mother and grandmother. Her daughter, Tonya (Bob) Hendrixson, and son, David Misner, carry forward her legacy, along with her grandsons, Josh (Danica), Derek (Alana), and Shea, and granddaughter, Maddie (Ethan). Vicki’s family expanded with her beloved great-granddaughters, Kylie, Leah, and Ryan, who brought her immeasurable joy.
In addition to her immediate family, Vicki is left to be remembered by her dear brothers, Jake (Linda) Roach and Jack (Vicki) Roach, alongside numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of relatives and friends who admired her zest for life and genuine heart.
Visitation will take place on January 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville, located at 820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH 45459. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Though Vicki has departed from this world, her spirit, warmth, and profound love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory will forever be celebrated as a source of inspiration and love.
