Christian Bryon Segedy went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Christian was born November 13, 1991 in Amarillo, Texas to Bobby Segedy and Lorena Short. He grew up and attended schools in Fritch and Amarillo. He graduated from Randall High in 2009 and enlisted in the Army immediately after graduation. After completing basic training in Ft. Benning, Georgia he was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado Springs, Co. After his stint in the Army he became a journeyman lineman working for Panhandle Line, Xcel, and emergency repair crews chasing storms across the country. He loved his work and the beautiful places he got to see.

Christian leaves behind two young sons who inherited his good looks and beautiful smile, Porter Segedy of Amarillo and Camden Hicks of Pampa. He will be dearly missed by his mother, Lorena Short of Fritch; father, Bobby Segedy and his wife, Jeannie of Amarillo; brothers, Daniel Segedy and Brandon Painter; sisters, Bailey Berinti and Randee McClary; maternal grandparents, Jim & Joyce Slaton of Fritch; Benny & Pat Short of Paris, Tx; paternal grandparents, Robert and Donna Segedy of Amarillo; maternal great-grandmother, Lina Hall of Hackleburg, Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at First Southern Baptist Church/Media Room, 520 Overland Trail in Fritch, Texas led by Pastor Dan Brunson. The family will receive friends from 10:15-11:00 prior to the service.

The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers a donation be made to his sons' college savings fund at Happy State Bank.
