Christie Wright Obituary
She was born Sept. 16, 1967 in Granite City to the late Clifford and Mary Jane Stephens and was raised by her foster parents, Tex and Kay Wright, from 7 days old until their passing.
Christie was a member of Johnson Road General Baptist Church. She loved country music, traveling and camping. She also loved dancing and coloring Throughout her life, she was able to see many country music stars and was also a big fan of Bob Barker, often exclaiming the famous tag line of, "Come on down!" She was and always will be a sweet loving child of God. Many friends and family will miss her.
Christie is survived by a foster brother, Robert (Cheryl) Wright of Granite City, a sister-in-law, Phyllis Wright of CA and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 foster brothers, Allen and Marshall Wright.
