Chris loved cooking, wine tasting, and her world famous cocktails are legendary. She loved exploring the rugged beauty of Michigan and hunting Petoskey stones with her husband. Recently Chris fulfilled one of her long time dreams when she took stand-up comedy classes and worked up several routines which an untold number of people enjoyed at local clubs. She was a natural.
Chris graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and worked in the field for a short time before moving into the financial leasing and accounting fields. Chris recently started a new job as an accountant with the Kent ISD school district and was very happy there.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Elmer Butler of Mt. Morris, IL.

Gill of Grand Rapids, MI; her mother, Dolores Butler; her mother-in-law, Helen Gill; her three brothers, Kimball Butler of Pontiac, IL, Nick Butler & Debra Sprague of Columbia, MO, and Kurt & Krista Butler of Rockford, IL; her brother-in-law, Mark S. & Colleen Buddy of Grand Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
