Christina Lynn Temple

Christina Lynn Temple Peavy, affectionately known as "Frog" by those closest to her, passed away on May 15, 2025, in Shreveport, LA. Born on July 23, 1977, in Monroe, LA, Christina's vibrant spirit and warm heart touched many throughout her 47 years of life.
Christina was preceded in death by her father, Marlin Faye Adkins.
Christina is survived by her fiancé, Jerry White, who stood by her as a steadfast partner and her husband and best friend, Gerald Peavy, with whom she built a life filled with love and laughter. She was a cherished mother to Daniel Boone and his wife Marie Moore, as well as Sara Temple and her husband Josh Barnett. Her mother, Alpha Adkins, and siblings, April, Alson, and Joy Adkins, will fondly remember her as a beacon of joy within the family. Christina's role as 'MawMaw' to her grandchildren, Ava Boone and unborn child (not sure what it is yet); Marlee Temple, August Crawford and Paisley Temple, filled her days with pride and joy.
Her closest friend, Tiffany Hoffman, alongside numerous nieces and nephews, including Stormy Adkins and TJ Coon, Maryanne, Lita, Wendy, and Maggie Adkins, and Brandon Adkins, as well as Hunter and Amiryah Hoffman, will miss her dearly. The love she shared with her extended circle of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends will remain a testament to her ability to forge lasting bonds.
A woman of many passions, Christina adored spending quality time with her grandbabies, casting a line while fishing, indulging in getting her nails done, and delighting in shopping trips. Family visits often saw her generously handing out candy to all the kids, leaving sweet memories behind. She relished holidays, taking special care in preparing feasts and ensuring her family was cared for and cherished.
Above all, Christina will be remembered as loving, kind, and funny, her laughter, and her ability to brighten any room will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
