Christine Marie Bacco, 95, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on September 1, 1929, in Fairmont, West Virginia, Christine lived a life grounded in love, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Christine was the heart of her home and a pillar of strength and compassion. She lovingly cared for her late husband, James Francis Bacco, and together they created a warm and joyful household rooted in unity and kindness. Her children-James Bacco, David Bacco and his wife Tracy, and Christopher Bacco–along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, continue to honor her legacy through their lives.

A passionate reader and gifted cook, Christine found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her love for baking and hosting family gatherings turned ordinary moments into lasting memories. Her holiday celebrations, in particular, were cherished for their warmth, laughter, and togetherness. Christine was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fairmont, WV. Her deep faith guided her through life and was reflected in her quiet service to both church and community–always humble, yet impactful.

Though preceded in death by her beloved husband, James, Christine's legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched with her grace, generosity, and gentle spirit.
