Keith Allen Grove, a devoted servant of God and a loving pillar in his community, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, at the age of 72 in
Hampton, VA. Born on December 10, 1953, in
Cleveland, OH, Keith dedicated his life to faith, family, and service.
Keith's journey was marked by an unwavering commitment to helping others. He was a cherished Pastor, the owner of Grove Data Services, and an esteemed Computer and Bible Teacher at Orange Christian Academy. His passion for teaching and guiding those around him left an indelible mark on countless lives.
Keith found joy in many pursuits, from roller skating and amateur radio to photography and carpentry. His interests were as varied as his talents, which he generously shared with those around him. Whether ministering in nursing homes and assisted living facilities or serving others in need, Keith's heart was always open to those seeking comfort and support.
He was a proud alumnus of West Geauga High School, Class of 1973, and furthered his education first recieving Associates degrees in Electrical Engineering and then continuing at Moody Bible Institute, earning Biblical Studies, as well as a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies in 2003. Keith's dedication extended to his nation through a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy, where he retired as a First Class Petty Officer. His service was recognized with numerous commendations, including the Navy Unit Commendation, Navy "E" Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, Navy Reserve Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, and Armed Forces Reserve Medal.
Keith was an active member of Seaford Baptist Church and a former Pastor of Hillcrest Community Church in Ohio. His passion for amateur radio was celebrated through his membership with ARRL.
Preceded in death by his loving parents, Elwood Allen and Emily Florence Grove, Keith's legacy continues through his beloved wife Kathy Grove, brother Elwood Grove, son Kevin Grove, daughters Emily Moss (Reggie) and Gretchen Silver (Rob), and cherished grandchildren Ashley Moss, Dustin Silver, and Madelyn Moss. He leaves behind many loving extended family members and friends who grieve his loss yet celebrate his exemplary life.
A service to honor Keith's remarkable journey will be held at Seaford Baptist Church on April 19, 2026, at 3 p.m. A memorial service will also take place in
Cleveland, OH, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Seaford Baptist Church in Seaford, VA; Hillcrest Community Church in Highland Heights, OH; or PSP.org, continuing Keith's enduring mission of spreading compassion and hope.
