Christine A. Booth

Christine "Chris" Booth, a cherished sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on
May 31, 2025, at the age of 63 in Fairfax, VA. Born on December 13, 1961, in
Pittsburgh, PA, Chris lived a life marked by dedication, warmth, and a spirit of service
that touched all who knew her. Chris grew up in the heart of Pittsburgh, and her early life set the stage for a lifetime of
meaningful connections and accomplishments. Chris carried the values of her
upbringing throughout her life, always placing family and friends at the forefront of her
priorities.
Chris moved to Virginia and embarked on a professional journey that would see her
become an integral part of the International Association of Fire Chiefs. As an executive
assistant, Chris's work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills were
unparalleled. Her colleagues revered her not only for her professional contributions but
also for her kind-hearted nature and ability to bring warmth and light into every situation.
In her personal life, Chris was a beacon of love and support. She is survived by her
brother, Neal Booth and his wife Cindy; her sister, Deborah Smith; and her cherished
nephews, Ryan Booth, his wife Becky and their son, Cooper, Dylan Booth and his wife
Emily, and Patrick Smith and his wife Chelsea. Chris's role as an aunt was one she held
dear, and her guidance, laughter, and stories will live on in the hearts of her family. Chris's passing
leaves an indelible void in the lives of those who knew her. Her
unwavering positivity, even in the face of adversity, served as an inspiration to all. Her
laughter was infectious, her advice was sought after, and her presence was a comfort to
many. Chris's life was a testament to the power of love, the importance of family, and
the impact one individual can have on the world around them.

Department located in Pittsburgh, Pa.

trip to Africa, she was passionate about water sanitation with the use of Safe-water
Ceramic Filters and Scholarships for the children that touched her heart.
