Christine Dodson Brucculeri, 45, of Holtsville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on August 7, 1980, in Smithtown, NY, Christine was the cherished daughter of JoAnn Dodson and the late Thomas Dodson. She graduated from Sachem High School North and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Dowling College.
Christine’s life was a testimony of faith, love, and service. A devoted wife to Dominick Brucculeri and a loving mother to their daughter Grace, she treasured every moment with her family. She was also a dear sister to Laura Pimentel and Tom Dodson, who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
A follower of Jesus, Christine lived out her faith daily with a spirit of kindness, generosity, and hospitality. She was passionate about God’s Word and, though she never sought the role, often found herself leading Bible studies. In doing so, she built lasting friendships and inspired others with her faith and love for Christ. She also found joy in Scripture, drawing, puzzles, and starting her own bread bakery from home. Christine had a gift for making people feel welcomed and cared for—whether by baking bread, preparing meals, hosting gatherings, or simply being available to those in need.
She will be remembered for her warmth, her joyful spirit, and the way she poured love into all who knew her.
Christine is survived by her husband, Dominick; daughter, Grace; mother, JoAnn; sister, Laura; brother, Tom; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas.
Her legacy of faith, love, and generosity, and unwavering devotion to Dominick, Grace, and her family, shown in the thoughtful way she cared for everyone’s needs, will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
