Christine left a profound mark on the hearts of all who knew her when she passed away on January 7, 2025. As a dedicated recreational therapist, Christine spent her life enhancing the wellbeing of others, using her compassionate spirit and warm heart to create joyous experiences for those in her care.
A proud graduate of Deer Park High School in 2005, Christine continued her education by earning a bachelor's degree from both Saint Joseph's and Queens. Christine's passions extended into a tapestry of beautiful memories that she wove throughout her life. She loved to crochet, pouring her heart into each stitch, creating handmade treasures for family and friends alike. An aficionado of Broadway musicals, she cherished the magic of theatre, singing and dancing along to her favorite shows. In her free time, Christine found joy among animals, especially horses, with whom she shared a unique bond that showcased her gentle nature.
Above all, Christine's love for her dog, Russy, radiated brightly in her life. She cherished her dog more than anything, finding solace and companionship in their time spent together. Russy was not just a pet; he was her confidant, her muse, and an essential part of her world.
Christine is survived by her loving parents, James G. and Theresa E. Carroll, her sister, Stephanie, her brother, Brian, and her niece, Melanie. The love that Christine shared with her family was palpable, creating a legacy that will forever resonate in their hearts.
