Christine Johanna Coddington, who left us at the age of 71. Born to Dominic and Margaret Pennelle, Christine lived a life full of love, compassion, as well as with a dedication to her family and community. Christine is survived by her beloved husband, Paul Coddington, and their three sons: Daniel, Robert and James. She was a proud and loving grandmother to her grandchildren Rebecca, Kira, Noah, Connor, Ian, Isabel, Anthony and Joanna. Christine enriched their lives with her boundless love and affection. Christine earned her Master's degree in Speech Pathology from Nova Southeastern University and had a fulfilling career as a Speech & Language Pathologist for the Palm Beach County School District, from which she later retired after many years of dedicated service. Her work touched the lives of many; helping individuals communicate and connect with the world around them. Christine had a deep passion for singing. Her love for music was a source of joy and comfort, and she shared this passion with her family and friends, creating many lasting memories. Christine's presence in our lives was a gift, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her kindness, warmth, and generosity touched many, and her legacy of love will be remembered always. A private committal service will be held at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois on Thursday June 27, 2024 at 12pm. There will then be a celebration of life held to honor Christine's life at Avanzare Restaurant nearby at 1pm for those who would like to gather to share stories to remember her with friends and family. Christine will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
