Mrs. Deloris Christine Crump transitioned from earth to glory on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the blessed age of 87. She was born on January 7, 1938, in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Melvina and Lewis Farmer II. She accepted Christ at an early age under the spiritual guidance of her uncle, Elder Percy Sanders, and became a faithful member of McCullen Church of God in Christ. She was educated in the Detroit Public Schools and graduated. On May 23, 1958, while visiting a cousin's home, she met the love of her life, Mr. Talmage E. Crump. And from their blessed union came two beloved children, Felecia Crump and Kevin Crump. She was a woman full of life, laughter, and love. She had a vibrant personality that could light up any room and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She always loved to have a good time. An entrepreneur and business owner, Christine and her husband owned and operated Gordon One Stop store, where they proudly served their community with dedication and care. Her hard work and commitment to excellence earned her recognition in the Battle Creek Communicator as part of their "Salute to Seniors" feature, celebrating her as a strong and inspiring woman. She had a passion for outdoors. She loved gardening, yard work, and watching birds - simple pleasures that reflected her appreciation for God's creation. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, where her creativity always shined through."
She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will live on through her family, and all who were blessed to know her. She was proceeded in death by her Parents: Melvina and Lewis Farmer II. Brothers: Mack, Carl, and Lewis Farmer III. Sister: Yvonne"Thelma" Dennard. Husband: Talmage Earl Crump. Son: Kevin Crump. And one amazing Friend: Freddie Nash.

Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery, directly following the service.
