It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend, Christine L. Davis, on the morning of September 13th, 2025. Though she was taken from us far too soon, she lived her life with a passion and vibrancy that inspired us all.

Christine achieved many accomplishments throughout her life. She was an intern at NASA and employed by the Department of Defense for 34 years. Twenty years as a government contractor and 14 years as a civilian. She was selected to be a team member on a joint project between the United States and Russia in Russia. During her career, she was awarded the DA Civilian Service Accommodation Medal and DA Civilian Service Achievement Medal.

Beyond her professional career, nothing was more important than her family and friends. The 32 years she shared with her husband Steve were the happiest of her life. She loved creative writing and was deeply touched by this quote; They found each other in the darkness, held hands, and ran towards the light, and had a wonderful life together. She believed in love stories because she lived one.

Christine leaves behind her husband Steve, her mother, Janet Murray, her sister, Rene' Pusey (Doug), her brother, Christopher Murray (Mandy), her niece Karin Tyndall (Danny), nephews Trevor Pusey, and Colton Murray, and many extended family members and dear friends. She is also survived by her special fur baby Mr. Whiskers. Christine was deeply cherished by her family and friends, and the time she devoted to them will live on in their hearts forever.

Christine was known for her love of adventure and travel. She and her husband enjoyed many wonderful vacations all around the world but one of her favorite places to visit was Hawaii. Her adventures continued throughout her life. She attended the NASA astronaut training space camp and completed the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade's two-day, 39-mile walk, she was an accomplished baker and loved kayaking. She was a member of the Salem Methodist Church.

She was graciously generous to others and took time to write heartfelt notes of encouragement and make charitable donations to those who needed it most. In honor of her generous spirit, we'd kindly request donations be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition at Ovarian.org in her name.

She chose to live her life through random acts of kindness, to live well, to be honest, to work hard, and to love others.

Services will be private and interment will be at the Arlington National Cemetery.

Anytime I had the opportunity to interact with Christine at work, she was always so kind and had so many great stories to tell. I learned a few things, and I´m sincerely going to miss seeing her smiling face around the office.

I am heartbroken and her family has my deepest condolences. Not only was she a good colleague, but she was also a cherished friend. I will miss our dinners, kayaking trips, and chats. Christine will live forever in my heart.

Christine was great to work with. She was always upbeat and kind. She was also a great baker and brought many delicious treats into work for everyone to enjoy. She will be missed.
