Christine Dinger Obituary
Christine Lee "Tina" Dinger, age 58, of Erie, passed away on December 27, 2025. She was born in Erie on September 2, 1967, a daughter of Richard Dinger and Joanne Wittman Kolbas.
Tina was a lifelong member of the Slovak Club, where she formed many cherished friendships. For many years, Tina was employed at the Barber National Institute, where she touched the lives of many with her gentle heart. She worked as a greeter and receptionist at Erie City Hall, where her warm smile and kind spirit welcomed countless visitors.
A devoted Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, Tina also loved oldies music and singing. She was a talented painter who earned several awards for her artwork, a passion that brought her great joy. As a child, Tina proudly served as a poster child for the March of Dimes Campaign. To her family, she was truly the "jewel in the family crown."
Tina is survived by her parents, Richard Dinger and Joanne Wittman Kolbas; her two sisters: Sherry Wieczorek and Patricia Rabbitt (Thomas); and her stepmother, Norma Dinger. She is further survived by a niece, Stacey Wieczorek; a nephew, Matthew Wieczorek (Amanda); and several great-nieces and great-nephews-who lovingly called her their "#1 Aunt"-as well as many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her nephew, T.J. Wieczorek, and her stepfather, Joseph Kolbas.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral & Cremation Services Harborcreek, 5151 Buffalo Rd. (at Hannon Rd.) on Saturday, January 3rd from 2 PM until the time of the funeral service there at 5 PM. Condolences may be offered at www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.
Tina was an earth angel and the light of our lives. Her kindness, joy, and love will remain with all who knew her.

Patty, it has been forever ago since I was over your house. Tina was so very young, the beautiful poster child for the March of Dimes. Maybe she was four and we were like eight.
