Christine Gazzola

Christine Gazzola, age 84, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 in Wall Township with her family by her side. Born in Italy, she moved to the United States at age 16. She met her husband Paul, and they lived in Paramus before moving to Wall, where they raised their children.
Prior to her retirement, Christine worked at Zorn Packaging in Wall Township for over 40 years. She was particularly proud of her work ethic and management skills.
Christine was dedicated to her family. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She loved bowling and was in many leagues over the years. She also loved bingo, knitting, puzzles and cooking in which all her foods were delicious. She loved to plant flowers and was very proud of all her flower gardens. Her honesty and kindness will be missed by many.
Christine is predeceased by her former husband Paul, by her mother Pasqualina Leonardi, her father Gregorio Rufalo, her dearest sister Rose and her husband Thomas Struffolino, her granddaughter Angela Hansen, and her dear friend Robert Morris. Surviving are her son Paul Gazzola and wife MaryJo, and granddaughter Rachel. Her daughter Christine and granddaughter Dawn Cirelli, her husband Evan and great grandson, Cameron. Her nephew Thomas and his wife Felicia Struffolino, their children Nicholas and Emily, also her half brother Ron Rufalo.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 4-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am at St. William the Abbot, Howell, NJ on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.
