Christine Marie (Kenyon) Greco
of Eden Prairie, MN passed away on January 5, 2023 after a brave battle with cancer. Christie was born on February 5, 1971 to Mary Jane (Ronyak Kenyon) Zubrzycki and John Dainton Kenyon, Jr. She graduated Eden Prairie High School in 1989 and married Nicholas John Greco in 1995. She was a proud mother of their daughters, Courtney Elizabeth and Meghan Elizabeth. A lover of travel, adventure, and the outdoors, Christie succeeded in various roles in the corporate
travel industry for 27 years. Her last position was as Manager of Online Services at Blue Ribbon Business Travel where she was a consistent figure for fifteen years. Christie's breast cancer fight began immediately following a stage 2 diagnosis in 2019, which was later reclassified as stage 3b after additional testing. After surgery, chemo, and radiation, she made the most of her remission despite the Covid pandemic lock-down. When the cancer reappeared in 2021, she tried every treatment option that became available but finally succumbed, passing peacefully in her sleep. Christie is survived by husband Nick; daughters Courtney and Meghan; mother Mary Zubrzycki (Jim); sister Jennifer Kenyon; brother Patrick Kenyon (Felicia); brother Zachary Kenyon (Fawn); sister Emily (Kenyon) Schumacher (Nicholas); mother-in-law Nancy England; step-mother Lisa MacKay (Bob); uncle Paul Kenyon; nieces; nephews; step-siblings; a number of lifelong, devoted friends; and her loyal dogs. She is preceded in death by her father, John Dainton Kenyon Jr, and her beloved grandparents. At Christie's request, there will not be a viewing or funeral. In lieu of a service or flowers, her memory can be honored with a donation to Hope Chest for Breast Cancer.
