Christine Miller

Christine Hood Miller of Rockfield, 87, passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 10, 2025.
 
Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry Hood and Lottie Long Hood. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ray Hood, James Hood, Lonnie Hood, Otis Hood, Francis Hood Harlow and twin sister Pauline Hood Miller. Mrs. Miller was also pre-deceased by her husband Curtis Miller, her children Rhonda Miller (infant), Otis Miller, Karen Finn and grandsons Johnney Finn II and Joshua Miller. She is survived by sons Billy Joe Hood and Finney Miller and daughter Sandra Hundley (Leonard Montwill). Additionally, Mrs. Miller is survived by several loving nieces and nephews, as well as three generations of grandchildren who adored her.
 
Mrs. Miller was a housekeeper at the old Holiday Inn for approximately 30 years and was a laundry attendant at the new Plaza Hotel in the years immediately preceding her retirement. While Mrs. Miller was not a member of a church, she was a believer and identified as a Christian.
 
A funeral service will be conducted at Cone Funeral Home on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Tuesday January 14, 2025, at ­­­­­­­­1:00 p.m., with visitation that same day between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Burial will be at Green River Union Cemetery in Richardsville, KY.
