Christine Teresa Neuhardt

Christine Teresa Neuhardt, 54, Chrissy to everyone who met her, passed away on Thursday, February 19th. Chrissy was born and raised right here in Daytona Beach, Florida a true native, on February 12, 1972 to her parents Betty Jo Kuhn and Eugene Francis Fagan (deceased). Her older brother Lee Roy Fagan (also deceased) was her constant protector and champion growing up until he struck out for college at FSU in 1984.

Chrissy made fast friends her first day of elementary school with Cassandra Copeland (Marcinik) and have been so ever since. As she progressed in school, she continued to make many friends, none more so than Erin Taylor & Jenn Maxcy (Kellogg) with whom she never parted ways. She loved the beach and often cut class to catch the rays and enjoy the sand and surf. She graduated in 1990 from Mainland High School, attended Daytona Beach Community College & worked in a variety of local Daytona establishments, unfortunately now all gone.

In 1999 she met the love of her life Jason through her friend Erin and in 2002 married Jason in a homemade wedding ceremony at Ames Park in Ormond Beach. In 2004 the two welcomed their first child Avery Briar, followed in 2006 by Wyatt Murphy. Starting in 2003 Jason entered into a deployment rotation with his Navy unit that would last until his retirement in 2015. All the while Chrissy maintained a solid, loving, rich environment for Avery & Wyatt to flourish and grow.

She loved gardening, music, crafting, spending time outdoors at the beach or the many springs in the Central Florida area. Mostly she enjoyed spending time at home with family and friends around or just spending quiet time watching "How-To videos" about living life better with materials already around the house.

Chrissy is survived by her husband Jason; children Avery & Wyatt; mother Betty; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from both sides of her family who were fortunate enough to have known and loved her.

A family hosted Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, February 28, 2026 12:30 pm at Faith Lutheran Church, 2010 W Granada Boulevard, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Chrissy's honor as she was an ardent supporter of the ASPCA.
