hristine Mae Shuffield passed away at the Billings Clinic on April 30, 2024. She was surrounded by her daughters Shiloh Shuffield, Sarah Shuffield and Elizabeth Botha as well as her loving companion Nicholas Shuffield.
Chris was born in Powell on Aug. 7, 1955 and graduated from Powell High School. Her friends and family knew her best for her child-like wonder. No holiday "kid" table was safe. She truly enjoyed talking to others and never met a stranger. She was knowledgeable about plants and gardening and enjoyed learning about the healing properties of herbs and other natural remedies.
She was preceded in death by her father Wilson Lindsay. She is survived by her mother Virginia Lindsay and brother Michael Lindsay, both of Powell. She had five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was loved by her family. Her life was too short and she will be missed.
The family will plan a celebration of life later in the summer.
