Christine (Park/Baldwin) Steensen passed away of natural causes on September 12, 2022, in Lacey, Washington. She was born July 29, 1929, to Cecil and Veneva Park in Bucoda, Washington. She also resided in the Washington cities of Burien, Centralia, Olympia, and Shelton.
Christine graduated from Centralia High School in 1948. She worked at a Centralia pharmacy and then for the State of Washington.
She was a very talented painter. She loved to bake and cook, and also grow her own vegetables. She was always busy with some craft or another, including quilting, and loved reading and dancing. She also was eager to lend a hand to help her family and friends.
Christine is survived by her sons, Gary A. Baldwin and Rick J. Baldwin; daughters, Jacqueline K. Baldwin-Drewes and Peggy A. Baldwin-Johnson; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by grandchildren, Kayleen Drewes and Casey Drews; parents; and sisters, Yvonne Park, Anita Melborn, Valerie Jungmayer, and Geraldine Massey.
Services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, 12:00 p.m. at Skookumchuck Grange, 5345 Skookumchuck Road SE, Tenino, WA 98589.
