Christine Stevens was born October 11, 1927 in northern Alabama. She was the daughter of Thomas Webb and Emma Rogers Webb.

She departed this life at her home in Caruthersville, Missouri on February 19, 2023. She was 95 years old.

Christine was married to Mr. Ed Stevens and they were the parents of five children. He preceded her in death in February 1983. On August 31, 1991, she was united in marriage to Mr. Marion Morgan.

Christine was a lady that loved life. She had a dress shop and a jewelry store in Hayti for a while. She also enjoyed having an Avon route.

She also enjoyed bowling for many years. She traveled all over to tournaments. Not only was she able to travel to many bowling tournaments but many other places all over the world. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, quilting and playing cards.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Christine is survived by her husband: Marion Morgan of Caruthersville, Missouri; five children: Linda Clayton (her husband, Mike) of Hayti, Missouri, Glenda Raffety (her husband, Phil) of Charleston, Missouri, Danny Stevens (his wife, Teresa) of Hayti, Missouri, Nancy Halford of Hayti, Missouri, & Tina Stevens of Hayti, Missouri; brother: Donald Webb (his wife, Wilma) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Stephanie Clayton White of Fort Worth, Texas, Matthew Clayton of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Cabrina Hedge of Surf City, North Carolina, Grant Raffety of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Zach Stevens of Hayti, Missouri, & Christie Irions of Caruthersville, Missouri; eleven great grandchildren; step grandchildren: Sarah, Hannah, & Tim; several step great grandchildren; and many other relatives, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Emma Webb; her first husband: Ed Stevens; two sons-in-law: Jess Halford & Randy Young; one grandson: Scott Halford; and nine siblings.

Funeral services are Thursday, February 23rd, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the H. S. Smith Chapel with Brother Doug Wahls and Rick White officiating. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri.

Serving as active pall bearers: Grant Raffety, Zach Stevens, Matthew Clayton, Jake Stevens, Devon Raffety, & Aidan White. Honorary pall bearers: Lee Edward Watkins & Jerry Wallace.
