Born in Brooklyn, New York, Christine resided in Carteret for the past 28 years. She will be remembered and cherished as a loving and devoted wife, daughter, mother, nomma and sister as well as a loving titi to her nieces and nephews.
Christine is survived by her husband, Stefano Sugrim; children, Gabrielle Fiol, Caitlynn Fiol and Jacob Sugrim; mother, Milagros Marin; grandchildren, Cayden Perrin and Caia Brady; siblings, Enrique and Hector Cabrera; her three dogs, Brody, Luna and Mamba along with her granddog, Drake.
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading followed by interment at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Relatives and friends may arrive at the funeral home beginning at 9am.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Christine may be made to one or both of her favorite charities - American Diabetes Association or Monmouth County SPCA.
